WHY SHOULD COW DUNG CAKES BE USED IN
AGNIHOTRA
AGNIHOTRA is a Yajna which is performed to invoke the mercy of Suryadev; Sun god. In this simple practise, performed during sunrise and sunset the cow dung cakes are lit, and a little amount of raw rice mixed with Gau Ghrut (Indigenous Cow’s Clarified Butter) are put into the fire along with a spoon full of Gau ghee. This practise was a common feature of Indian rural household which maintained cows.
Thus invoking the power of sun one could easily keep most dangerous types of viral and bacterial infections at bay!!
It may sound a bit strange that lighting up of fire and using Go Ghrut can have such awe inspiring and wonderful impact!! But the truth can only be revealed to those who take to this in practical use, says Shree Prem Joshi of Indore, India; an expert in AGNIHOTRA since 40 years.
But one may ask logically why only cow dung? After all, one requires only some cheap fuel to keep the yajna fire going!!
Agnihotra Benefits
The answer is that cow dung is not only the waste product of cow or merely a fuel source, as the less knowledgeable may take it for! It is the most pure of all the animal waste which exist on the face of the planet.
When cow dung is burned it produces six types of gasses that directly hit the harmful microbes present in polluted air and make the atmosphere clean and pollution free ( Ref: Research work from German scientist)
The input of Go Ghrut in the Homa liberates oxygen (Pranavayu) in such a large quantity that anaerobic microbes are believed to vanish with the perimeter of one and a half km.
This Pranvayu empowers the nervous system of humans as well and strengthens their thinking and analytical skills.
Agnihotra Mantra
Agree Prem Joshi ji is also of the opinion that Pranvayu as well as Mantra power increase head and heart coordination required to overcome problems like addiction to habit forming substances and narcotics etc.
No doubts cow are glorified in Vedic text for their this benevolent nature that they are given the status of Gautama for she is the giver and preserver of life!!!
